That's a great album, Jim. And shall remain a classic for decades to follow. Still have my 8-track version. Yes... I'm that old.
Today's selections are from my ancient cassette collection that I decided to bust out, today:
The English Beat/I Just Can't Stop It/ 1980 The Plimsouls/Everywhere All At Once/ 1983 The Dickies/We Aren't The World/ 1986
Rock on, my brethren.

Plimsouls are some of my absolute favorite. Million miles away and Oldest story in the world capture that time to a tee.. English Beat and Dickies are pretty cool too.

Me to! Anyone have any of their stuff on CD? I have a live CD but the audio quality is not the best. Maybe we can do some swapping.

...with a laser needle, like something from the future! Slightly off topic, but not much - I'm a Design And Technology teacher, and one of our projects for the 14 year olds is to design the artwork and box for a 3CD box set. This year over half the year-group had no concept of why you would buy a CD at all when music is available on i-tunes and the like! One girl even said that if she gets CDs, she puts the CD in a storage wallet and throws the cases in the bin! Philestine! And back on to topic, Queens Of The Stone Age, Rated R
