Just saw a Soundgarden tribute band, the other night. It's called AudioGarden and they do only Soundgarden and AudioSlave songs. Good stuff! I asked the lead singer, who looked and sung like Chris Cornell, if they ever covered My Wave. They did, but were pressed for time. I'd love to see them do that song... my favorite Soundgarden one.
Urban Dance Squad made one song that I totally dug. The video was great, 'cause it was filmed in an empty swimming pool.

Black Sabbath 1970 live. Bill Ward just destroys on the drum kit in this one. Goosebumps. I think Ozzy messed up the words though, but who cares.

Southern Harmony and Musical Companion is a great Black Crowes album. I saw them at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on that tour (91 or 92?). They had a big pot leaf tapestry they pulled up about halfway through the concert, which envoked much cheering from the crowd. |
