Not just a slung together pile of parts like some big engines out there, crank assembly (pulley to clutch cover) dynamically balanced, rods and pistons match weighted to within 0.1g, valve springs match weighted, and much much more, I spent a ridiculous amount of time blueprinting this engine. Unfortunately my circumstances have changed and I could use the money elsewhere right now. The engine has covered a maximum of 3000 miles since built and all parts were brand new.
Spec: AS41 Rimco case, CNC clearanced and shufflepinned. Oil galleries drilled and plugged. Forged Scat 84mm crank, Scat H-Beam rods, Straight cut cam gears Webcam 86b camshaft and Webcam followers. 94mm Mahle forged stroker pistons and barrels. Scat Wedgeport cylinder heads 44x37 stainless valves, 3-angle valve job, dual springs, chromoly retainers. Scat forged lightened flywheel, chromoly gland nut, Kennedy stage 2 clutch pressure plate, Daiken friction disc. Scat 1.4:1 Rockers, chromoly pushrods. Weber twin 44IDF carbs, match ported and polished manifolds. Berg pressure relief oil pump cover, Berg equalizer crank pulley. Full MSD 6AL ignition system Balanced welded cooling fan, genuine Bosch internal reg alternator. Tinware all professionally painted in 2k gloss black Stainless merged header with stainless turbo muffler.
Compression ratio is 9.3:1. Dynoed at 161 BHP at the wheels. Engine is still in my bus so can be seen running and driven for anybody interested. (Im in the Midlands, U.K)
