Who and around when started with detailing the wheels with body colour? Deek thing to do?  Smiley

True, what Glenn posted.

Much of the Porsche 911 styling, details, and characteristics were to blame. But, for sure, it was an '80s thing... all the way.

Like Mark Ramirez's '70, here, before he painted it black.

Yes,I saw that brown one on your blog Fabs, but I said that because I read this in a post from Fred/Mark.So.....   Roll Eyes
to me that car look ernie's car not mark R car  Undecided

Just to set the record straight. The car in the photo was Ernie Baron's.

Ernie now has a green KG 'vert that won it's class at The Classic last weekend.

Mark's black '70 was a heck of a car. Who would have thought that blue background Alloys on a black car would look so good.  Wink

As the taker of this spectacular photo, I have to apologize.  Unfortunately seeing some photo after 30 years, 4 kids, a wife, numerous dogs, cats, houses, cars etc.  my memory has failed me.  I don't know why I thought that car would have been Mark's before it was black, Mark bought a basket case old 70 and did it up (that I remember).  As it is, I am lucky enough to remember some of the players from back then.
sorry guys.

Here's another one, we had a car show everyday!
Just noticed that the wheel color matches the license plates. Ties in very well.
That's the Rolling's family Burro behind it.
