I am thinking to put 3" exhaust system to 2789cc engine with Wasp stage 2 header.

I'd like to use straight trough muffler, one or two perhaps.

This kind of system came my mind at first, with one muffler, or with two mufflers, first being small round and second larger straight trough:

Other choices:

I like the first two especially because the endpipe comes out at stock place ( old and new mexican apron )

Wonder how much the exhaust lengt will affect to the power?

There is many options when looking 3" stainless mufflers, hard to choose...JPM uses Simons mufflers, which are well known brand also at Finland. Dynomax VT has flap that opens when rpm / exhaust pressure goes up.

Itīs very important to have a tuned length between the collector and start of the muffler.
We did some testing last year between stinger and muffler and found no difference in performance when a properly tuned system is used.

I was at a muffler shop recently and the 3" mufflers are quite a bit larger than a 2" muffler like the one I have. What kind of car? Do you have room for the exhaust under there?
