so MSA meet at Shakey this bank hols ,sat qualifying first run lost a nut from carb spindle on shift to 3rd gear .still ran a 16,bugger its 7mm and no one had a spare or a tap so went to tower for a shout out and Tony had picked it up from the track!!!!! result .put it back on with thread lock but no time to set carbs for 2nd qualifier so that was a 15 dead. checked carbs after the run and found not getting full throtle on lh (the one that fell off)so set carbs so both fully open together .no more runs till next day due to wet stuff so out for first run and left dial in from the last good run 14.65 and she ran 14.56 break out but with a best 60foot of 1.91,second run dialed 14.55 well she smashed that with a 14.38 and a 1.86 60ft .track and air excelant and we still qualified 10th from 12. shame about to days weather ,still drying out.

well last gamblers at Shakey and with the help of an exalent track and mother nature (hell of a tail wind!!!!)ran 14 .26 of the trailer for a new pb .first qualifier dial in 14.2 and then ran another pb 14.05,60fts 1.9s ,we only get that at a MSA meet !!!!!.took it easy to make sure of qualifing so first round dialed 14.1 only to run 14.092 with a big lift and a 1.8 60ft.recon that was a 13?Huh so out first round .tried for a 13 after but the wind had droped and track going cold so went 14.11.back home before dark so a good day, watch out for the winter rebuild
