Hello all.  My 63 Cal Looker is for sale. Time for a change, Now the details!

This is a very very clean car. Not perfect, but extremely clean. She is L478 Beryl Green. The right colour for her year and model. The wings are street weight day mouldings.

Spec:

Engine - goes really really well. Ace set up for the street. Not mental and the 3rd progression hole in the Ida's gives it a very smooth power delivery. Not like a tap on and off that some Ida's can be. I'm not an expert on the engine as it was built for me (I just drive it!). It was rebuilt for me my the Frasers in Sunderland England and the carbs done by Mr Dave Downs. Both know exactly what they are doing.

2007cc
Twin Webber 48 IDA (Spanish) with 3rd progression hole and original gene berg linkage
Street Eliminator Heads,
Engle 110
Billet oil breathers
flame thrower coil
I also have a billet deep sump that's not fitted but will come with the car.
Stainless turbo muffler.
Very trick engine lid standoff from recommended by  Green Hearts. They allows the engine lid be stood off open at the top or closed like a standard lid. Very cool and very expensive (£300!).

Gearbox,

Brand new Rancho pro street box with taller 4th for cruising. The car has been set up for the street. I've had it down York for one weekend a year ago where my fat chubby arse managed Low 15's. She has 14's in her no bother.

Wheels.

New Erco race weights. Lovely lovely wheels. I'm a shiney pervert and these wheels are lush. No marks or dings with new tyres all round.

Koni shocks all round. With an engine brace to to help prevent wheel hop.

Interior.

Very Cal look. Simple and beautiful. Beige seat covers from TMI and heavy oat weave carpet set. Red door cards and brand new fitted perforated headliner. The interior looks new.

Steering wheel. Flat four golden lady. Class.
Fully restored original radio that has a hidden iPod connector in the glove box. To be honest I haven't connected any speakers as the noise of those IDAs is amazing so I never got round to installing any. Get some speakers and off you go! Personally the first time you drive it you'll love the IDAs and forget all about music!

No respectful Cal Looker would be complete without a Gene Berg shifter. Mine is fully polished! It's the 40% reduction proper RHD model. Sweet and smooth gear changing every single time.

Car also has a very nice cluster of gauges under the dash. Monster tach with working shift light, oil pressure and and oil temp all matching with white faces. Light up connected to the headlights. The headlights are refurbed 356 lights with halogen bulbs so nice and bright.

Also has matching red 3 point chrome buckle seat belts in the front. I have a pair of matching lap belts for the rear that I haven't fitted that I'll include.

Here are some pics:

The bad bits

This is me being picky as I am a pervert for detail. 2 of the hinges the paint has scaped off the centre where they open and close. There is a tiny tiny bubble on the engine lid that you wouldn't see unless I showed it to you. There is tiny chip on the polished black fuel tank under the lid. In the engine bay there is a couple of small scapes where I installed the cagero stand offs and caught the paint! The door gaps are really good put not factory perfect.

The car is beautiful, goes really really well and has been proper pampered. It's just been serviced by the Frasers even though I've only done 150 miles in the last year. It's got full tax and test.

I have  close to 16k in this car and god knows how many hours of my time. I know I won't get that back and I'm also being pragmatic with the price as I want a 911 997.  So the big question! How much! I want £9,000 or very very very very near offer for her. This is a monster bargin for a car you could never do for that price even if you did it all yourself! Pm me for my mobile contact. The car and me are located feckin miles away from most of you in the sunny NE of England (Sunderland). But she likes motorways and we even have train stations and airports up here now! I know it's amazing how high tech us northerners are these days.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers guys

Just when you make your mind up a buyer comes along and changes it! Sold the car this morning to a very nice lad from Sheffield. Onwards and upwards.

Cheers
