1st pass, spun the tyres in 1st and 2nd, got it straight then clutch slipping in 4th, seems the aero of a cabrio is restricting it mph wise, 167mph seems to be a brick wall for it

1st round of eliminations, unfortunately we lost  Shocked

but Richie ran 8.02 @ 169 mph which we are sure is the quickest backed up pass in Europe, so more than happy to lose  Smiley

It was a good way to finish the year, even if we only got 2 passes all weekend, with those 2 numbers nothing else mattered. Cool

I have a few ideas for the winter to hopefully improve it for next year, definitely need to look at helping it cut through the air better, and there is more in the 60ft to come, then on both passes as I shifted into 2nd I had huge wheelspin, [over 33mph higher wheelspeed than actual car speed] so some work there as well. It will keep me busy anyway Shocked Grin

Videos are uploading now so should be up in the morning

cheers Richie

We have Kjula coming up this weekend and you have set the time to beat Richie. Skinne is bringing his beetle and the weather forecast is looking really good.

Congratulations Richie and team. What a fantastic way to end the season. A shame it wasn't the 7 but some solid progress and consistent too. Do we really have to wait over 6 months before we can go again Sad

Got a vid, excuse it being a bit shakey, was watching the track not the camera!

Hi Rich

thanks that's actually really good, I really wanted to hear what the commentator said at the end and our video cut it off, funny it looks and sounds so different from that angle/distance. I wish there was a way to watch the live feed afterwards like you can with bangshift etc, but then I would never get any work done Cheesy

Good luck getting yours back together in plenty of time for next year Smiley

cheers Richie

Superb, it sounds different to some of the earlier videos, and looks to be smoother to drive too. Congratulations!

Cool, glad it was of some use. Bug will be back together soon ready for some winter road miles! Roll Eyes

I missed your first run but did hear it go past the finish line, I didn't realise it was yours until I was told. I can only describe it as akin to a jet fighter giving a flypast but with a much deeper angrier note! We were also in Andy Bonds trailer when you fired it up and it sounded like a top fuel bike, our feet were buzzing with the vibration  Grin
