I have a universal case that I'm using as an upright type 1, with the dog house cooler. This covers the upper left spot where the bolt comes thru and a nut is used. Factory engines had an insert for the nut. My case doesn't have this insert.  Should I use a Helicoil or Keensert here?

You just need to get one from an old case and put it in the new one. Where do you live?  I think I have some.

Salt Lake City, Utah. I can do the coupler nut bit. But I'll check a few other options. Thank you Taylor for that option.

Should be able to get one from the online shops I'd imagine. Aircooled.net, CIP, etc.
I know the Norwegian shops usually have it available cheap - so I'd guess the US ones should also. Smiley
