What was the spec of that motor? Why did you hate it?
It was 2332 with 11:1 and Clay Smith steel cam, 280 deg @ .050 and over .600" at valve. It was fun when it had room to be let off its leash, which was rare at this time in my life. Had I spent more time tuning it and accepted the fact I wanted one kind of motor, but built the opposite, I wouldn't have been so mad. The cam and lifters ended up in a red hot DKP 2276 with 13.25:1, 48's monster heads and it went like hell.
