A HUGE congrats to our own Don Lindfors for his care of/ work on the Blair's Speed Shop Anglia and it's article in the current issue of Rodder's Journal.  Aside from it being a seriously cool car, I love it for the link to my hometown speed shop, Blair's.  They probably put more straight axles under cars in the 60's than any other speed shop in the world.  Great guy and nice car!  I'll try and add a photo when I get my copy of the magazine.

Thanks for sharing the pics on here. That was a really fun day - glad I brought the Anglia out. Good to see the Schley Bros and the other VW guys there as well.

Sarge, YDM on the photos!  Thanks for the save.

I'll throw in a little bit of California VW history........the builder of this car, Jay Lindsley, was also a VW guy in the 60's and according to Pete Eastwood, had a bug in the late 60's with a lowered front end, chrome nipples and exhaust.  Pete couldn't remember what was under the decklid.  He's going to ask Jay if he's got any photos of it.....................now that would be interesting!

Again, Don, great job on a great car.

Add in a cool mix of hot rods, an ice cream truck (with FREE ice cream) and you'll wind up with yet another classic Galassi Gig; just the best!
