If I remember correct, My Dad had a Don Zig Vertex magneto on his 1937 EL Knucklehead.

I can’t comment on the differences between the two as I have only used a Don Zig Mag on my 2332.

It really is a lovely bit of kit and if you have any questions/queries I have found them to be extremely helpful  - zigmags@aol.com   Smiley

Don Zig is just a repair shop in Santa Monica, CA he just repairs Mags as well as sells parts. He repairs and modifies , Vertex, Mallory and other brands and just puts his name plate on them, just like Cirello does, I have been to his shop many time, he did great work and service.

I had Don Zig freshen up my mag recently and I look forward to installing it soon.
