2 different things.
Line lock for burnouts, staging brake is for staging (pre loading) the car

I drove a street car. I used the parking brake to stage, preload, and launch. I drilled a hole through the button and the handle and when racing time came, I used a rivet to stick in the hole while the button was pressed that way I could just drop the handle and not worry about launching with the rear Brakes locked. Line lock for the burn out.
