I subscribe to a number of Auto Mags and one thing I always get a kick out of is seeing the garage that some of these cool cars come out of.  Sometimes they are like a professional shop but often they are small cramped and crowed with parts and tools.  A lot of times the walls are covered with memorabilia.  Show me your little slice of heaven.  This is mine, this is where I put my '66 together.

That is a pretty well outfitted hobby shop.

Edit: Here are the pics of my work shop. Just a modest two car garage but I am working on slowly converting it into a well outfitted shop as money allows.

My work space. I have a couple of fold out tables I use too.

The "other side". Hopefully in the next couple of months we will be purchasing a storage shed so most of this stuff and all the spare sheet metal will go in there. That should free up some more room.

My latest addition, a real honest to god work bench with a vise. You don't know how long I have wanted this but other things always took priority. My wife finally surprised me with this a couple of weeks ago. I added the vice two days ago and as far as I am concerned, its the greatest thing since sliced bread.

The parts pile gets organized. I think that was the real motivation for my wife buying the work bench and the shelves. She was tired of the garage always looking like a tornado hit it.  Grin

Next on my list is to buy a welder, install some more lighting, a beer fridge and paint the floor. I am looking at that new por15 garage floor refinishing kit and everything I have read looks promising. Once done I will be a lot closer to being ready to get serious with the '67 resto.

Here's out it looks full and I also have a fenced in side yard that is concrete 18ft. x 36ft. approximately.  I have room for my future projects there.  Hopefully some day I will be able to fund them.

Looks good Ken! Where abouts are you now? Looks a bit different from your place near Reading – I bet the neighbours all stood in the street and cheered the day the removal men came! Grin  Neighbours never seem to understand... Roll Eyes Cheesy

I reckon they did, although i've still got that house at the moment, we're now on the coast road just south of Hornsea, East Yorkshire, no near neighbours, sea views and plenty of storage/workshop space, couldn't be any more different from the old place, should be up and running properly (part time at the moment) by the end of the year.  Cool

Dogs and garages just seem to go together. This is Bear, my year old Dachshund/Maltese mix. He decided to pay me a visit in the garage while I was working tonight. My wife's Golden wouldn't bother unless there was food involved.

This is mine as of yesterday! The garage was only put up over the weekend while we were away at the Euro Finals!

I put the bug in there as soon as I could! Its a shame we're moving otherwise it would be all painted first!
