can i use a original vw crankshaft 1300/1600???

i upgraded from a stock to a balanced and that was nicer on the engine. the engine turns better now and i would do it again if i had to.

nicolas, don't you mean counterweighted? cos i would also have my stock crank balanced...

YES that's it. oops i had it wrong
i feel a difference between a stock balanced one and a counterweighted balanced one. i would take the later. thanks

I would go for a c/w crank for more smoother revving at high rpm's,my 2 cents
