I always loved the floorpan cars that came out of Dave Kawells shop, with the turbo motors, Centerlines and subtle graphic paint. Especially like this one that popped up on thesamba this week: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1786337

Looks like Robby Bledsoe's Phreaky car. http://www.kawellracing.com/ccp.html about halfway down the page.

Looks a bit like Pat Nelsen's old car. If it is, saw it run many times against Ron Townsend, Chris Bubetz etc etc. Fantastic racing - always close and hard fought.

I thought that, which is why I went looking on the KRE website! On a related note, whatever happened to Pat Nelsen's car?

It does, especially with all that cage work done. Be about £4500 by the time it's here, put in a few weeks of recommissioning work, drop in a motor and go play. Pity I'm short of that amount by around £4495...
