Having trouble doing fast shifting all 2014 season and having a talk to a oil company sales representant, makes me realise the oil used in the trans can make a great difference. So my question to you is, what brand/type oil do you use in your race transaxle, and why?

Thanks for the replies. Anyone using oil thinner than GL-4? GL-1 or automatic trans oil?

For me its syncro rings and spool

I wouldn't use anything to thin as real quick shifting will beat the *hit out of the syncos really quickly

I got 75/90 in the old car, and used 80/90 LAT in the new car when it had syncros and bus box

cheers Richie
