indeed, any pictures yet?

I am especially interested in that guy in a 1957 oval, diamond green colour, firestone whitewalls and fenderskirts, does anyone has taken a picture from that car? Was on the show and shine area on saturday and on the campsite with an eriba puck caravan, and behind that oval a black US car, I believe it was a mercury but not sure about that!

It was a fantastic weekend!! Best weather we ever had, sunny, warm and not to much wind all day long. Track was dry and in perfect condition, lot`s of new PB`s. Skinne Beetle close to the 7`s with a 8,03!  Cool

Videos and pictures are coming here: http://www.vwnorge.no/index.php/topic,66461.0.html

On FB https://www.facebook.com/groups/194069392213/?fref=ts

Where were You??

Later this year they start to rebuild the track, making a whole new surface and new return lane ++ So next year the SCC will be held at a new world class race track!!  Grin

What a weekend! Everything was spot on this time. The weather was perfect, the track was as good as it can be, the food, the concert, the Screwdriver BBQ, the speaker..Everyone walked around with huge smiles on their red faces. It was a weekend to remember for a long time. A BIG thank you from me to everyone involved!

I raced my 67 with the 1641ccm engine and I was one of many that managed to improve my personal best ET. My runs:

Run 1: 10.77 - 130 mph - 1.56 60ft
Run 2: 10.68 - 131 mph - 1.49 60ft
Run 3: 10.53 - 131 mph - 1.48 60ft
Run 4: 10.66 - 127 mph - 1.46 60ft - letting off in 3rd and a little in 4th because I felt that the car drifted a little. On this run I had 107 mph at 1/8 mile @ 6.43. According to my Moroso Power-Speed Calculator that could have been a 10.15 - 134 mph 1/4 mile run  Cool

Next year with a new track and a new depot I hope I will have the pleasure to say hi to more Lounge members.

I joined the racers on the track for my first time this weekend.
Broke the gearbox at launch (at lunch) but i will sure be back next year With 400BHP MORE than this year and a stronger gearbox.
Fantastic weekend and the SCC 2016 sure will have more enough room for you all  Smiley

Gearbox issues seems to not be exclusively for me, as i completely stripped either the ring or the pinion (absolutely no sound in 1-4.gear on jack stands, spinning the wheels  Roll Eyes )

At least I got a new best 60-foot.

Next year I'll hopefully have the new turbo engine ready with a new gearbox  Cool

Nothing wrong with the traction. New best 60ft for me also with 1.50. but fuel issues on Saturday left me with only a few good runs on Sunday with 10.94 as best.
What a weekend though! I am sooo looking forward to next year already!

I just watched a video of one of your passes, left really well and sounds good all the way, looks like less patina than before as well?  Wink

Thanks Richie. The car still has its patina paint. However I did give it a wash before SCC.

Cheers,
