Congrats Richie! I expect you where holding your hat on real tight!  Grin

Did you lift in 4th gear? Skinne's 8.02 run I believe was about 10mph higher.

Thanks, not lifting, full throttle at finish line, 2 reasons it is different, I have been working mainly on just getting it to work for the 1/8 mile, after that it is relatively simple, just put it in 4th and hold on Shocked Grin  so it works really well 1st half of track, 5.14 to Skinne's 5.19[ from what I remember] and also I am maxed out in 4th gear, new taller 4th gear is ready, just need it put in the gear box and see what that does. I may have an aero issue to overcome that holds it back due to the cabrio design as well.

Finally there was a head wind pretty much all weekend that doesn't help Roll Eyes

cheers Richie

Nice going.

I'm, and probably the rest of the lounge are so ready to see what you can achieve!

Have a cup of tea and be proud of the 7sec run  Smiley

Let's see a yellow cab with the fastest time!  Grin

Congratulations with the seven!!! Well done! BTW Did you change your front suspension, or did I misread that?
Looking forward to see your progress!

Great reaction Jo, I really enjoyed that!

Nice calm fast run Richie and given its an 1/8th mile car I'm looking forward to seeing the 1/4 mile car! It certainly looks quick relative to the other 7 second cars mph.......

Superb! I was blown away by the eights, but never in any doubt that you could get that seven. I now have another video to show the kids at school!

Puts it into perspective that this run was almost twice as fast as my 13.2 , and I thought that felt quick.  Haha. Cool.

"A little excited", are you sure?

Well done Richie, awesome achievement. Just imagine if you drove 1320 feet instead of 1350.  A straight line is always the shortest distance Wink
