maybe a stupid question, but could a magneto get any damage when I polish it?  I won`t disassemble it. Do you think it is enough to tape-seal the top and the end? What about the heat when machine-polishing?

I wouldn't think that machine polishing generates as much heat as a running engine. But why polish it? You'll only end up having to wipe it with a rag every day or two just to keep it shiny. Anyways, a don't think it will damage anything. Just keep it from spinning while working on it Wink
