Yes, its in progress. All of the bolt on panels are nearly done and look amazing. The main shell is next.  I`m a couple of days away from finishing the pan which has been an immense amount of work, and I vastly underestimated how much work it has taken to get to this. On the final 800g stage now . The pan will be going to the paint shop soon too. I might make you wait until the debut to see the paint etc, I want it to be a surprise Smiley

Cheers, its all the other stuff that's taken the time too. Every single piece has to be up to scratch, no casting marks, no rough edges, even the bloody steering damper has taken time to make it look right.  The gearbox is my favourite piece so far.

I realy liked the colour the first time I saw it years ago...

Well this is it for now. Chassis done and loaded onto its carry frame for delivery tomorrow.  Plenty more of the other parts to get on with in the mean time. Cheers for the comments, means a lot.

Pan looks great. Are your mid mount brackets upside down or are mine?  Cheesy

I've made my own mid mount so it's right for my gearbox.

Thanks, I'm just getting on with all the other bolt on  parts. I'm finding that I'm refinishing a lot of the parts I detailed two years ago as the standard wasn't up to scratch. The shell and chassis are not back yet but it's given chance to detail a whole load of parts. I broke my collarbone in February and that put me out of action for six weeks which was very frustrating but I'm back getting on with everything now.
I wasn't planning on updating the thread until the end of the year where there will be a part 2 concentrating on the final build and the restoration and detail of every part and the engine and gearbox etc.
