I see front tube axle like Small Wonder or IP...I don't remember now and narrowed rear axle.
It would be interesting to see the chassis

Gene Berg motor was based on a 40hp case, 1898cc

now a picture of the little but quick at pomona in the 60's
this car as seen had okrasa heads on a modified 40 hp v w engine with dual solex 40 p-11 and ran various  other vw engines over is lifetime

little info about this picture  Smiley
in its early days in washington , with the dragster mounted on the roof of gene's bug , it's off the drags .once there , gene would pull the engine out the bug , install it into the dragster and race the dragster , an amazing accomplishment done by an amazing guy ,thanks gene , we'll never forget  (vw trends march 2003)

We can to look into the photo.....the linkage take the place of the shocks, so it doesn't have rear suspensions.

That's my friend Glenn Miller in the middle picture.
He was the official Empi photographer.
I own a special set of wheels and M+H slicks that were specially made for that dragster !
