Here is my '73 the way I brought it home...

While not built into any specific "Look" other than what I like here is a couple of weeks ago when my son and I cleaned the winter grime off of it...

I was able to drive a '67 for a year while I was building a replacement 1600 for my car.
It was rough and I learned every smooth line in my 30 mile commute.
I enjoy my daily commute in my 1303 far more than the standard.
The ride was not terribly harsh from the lowered '67 but the ride in my car with the front lowered is WAY nicer.
Less like an unloaded truck and more like a Cadillac.
Another plus that I have come to appreciate is the better turning radius of the Super.
I am able to turn completly around in the middle of two lane street without backing up in my car, while in the '67 it was a 2 or 3 point turn.

It will be a beast with the 2332 I am building for it. Grin

Hey R.R., I think you should break out some pics of a certain super beetle that I had the Awesome chance to experience firsthand on the street, as the only ever passenger, before it went to a certain someones collection...  Certainly that 10 second ride deserves some kudos ? PLEASE...  Drooling now...  Thanks, Dyno
