Go pro footage of cruise, its long and not that exciting but you do see the CHP drive up inside near the end of the 1st one, he did have a good look at me  when he was alongside but carried on, to much paperwork I think Cheesy Grin

Car is all fixed, took it for test drive today and it made 16lbs boost so back under control [ well for street driving anyway  Shocked Grin ] so taking it to Fontana this Saturday, its final day of Hot rods new drag weekend event and they have a test n tune lane open as well so will get to see some cool cars and run the cabrio as well Cool

I would upgrade head studs if I was going to continue using it, but 4inch JPM head engine is imminent now, and I got a new 94bore engine coming along nicely as well, taking all I learnt from this and trying to improve every area Shocked Wink

No wellies or wheelies I am afraid Sad   Only got one pass, still not right, when I got into 4th gear it didn't sound right so shut it off and coasted to end. Good news was ran its best ever 1/8th mile 5.83@120[mph was down, best was 124.95] with a slower 60ft[ best is 1.30] which is 0.13 quicker than before on the 9.23 1/4 mile best ever run for this car. It still ran 9.69@110mph coasting from 1/8th onwards. An 8 in a street legal VW with no wheelie bars is getting nearer Shocked Grin
This time 1&2 head is loose and chuffing, maybe 3&4 as well, am thinking the new super strong head studs I put in last winter aren't that good and are stretching, only thing I can think of at moment having eliminated everything else. Will tear it down and check heads, swap studs to some good simple Scat ones and try again next weekend  Smiley  Still had fun, lots of cool stuff their to watch and a day in the sun in October is always good Grin

BTW, a year ago I ran 9.09 / 239 with almost identical 60ft and 1/8 numbers you had here (60ft 1.37, 1/8 mile 5.82sec / 193 km/h). So you were on your way to a 9.10 pass?
