I had one but it was not street legal.
Using the Bike trans you might miss not having a reverse gear.
This Thunder Roadster has the Hayabusa engine and stock sequential bike trans.
11k rpm and a sequential trans is a hoot and you can get the experience affordably for around $10k.

My thinking is that there would to be at least a 100kg saving in overall weight in a like for like vw power plant versus bike powered car where both are about the 200 hp mark. Picking the right base car I think a 450 kg 200hp car could be achieved. I have a small bodied project car with a tube chassis that I bought on the strength of a few pictures that is on the way and will assess which way to go when it lands, but very temped by the bike option if only for something a bit different.
