thanks for the pics Erwan , so as you can see the engine is in progress , and me i'm working on the body and chassis

the rear truss bar is in place and finish
i put an electric radiator
polish all the body
today i made a  home made traction bar
and the full flow system is in progress

change my plan with the exhaust i receive a scat dual exhaust instead of a bugpack



i cut the flange , to put the exhaust Under the arch ( its not the new engine of course !!!!!)




we prepare the engine tin
i sand them and put primer and paint them in satin black
i will take a pic tomorow tin are painted

it's ok with the oïl filter





i put the car out of the garage today  just for you cal look members !
happy to see that the rear tyre 205/70/15 are Under the arch ( short axle )









change the front  glasses , put some porsche 911





what do you think about the height of the car ?

i think it could come down 2-3 inches everywhere, but thats just me.  What do you think?

yes your right thinks 2/3 cm at the front

a bit some news the engine is on the engine bench ( dont know if it's the good word for banc moteur in french !) maybe start next week

i finish the scat dual exhaust , on of my friend weld it yesterday

sanding tips was made with sandpaper   180 next 400 next 600

for the wheels adaptator  , i"m on 4x130 disc brake ( for the moment ) so adaptator are 4x130 ----- 5x205 on front rear is stock 5x205

dont know , there no brand write on them i bought it here in France at my local vw dealer  , the thickness is 9mm with  bichromate treatment

so there is a long time i didn't post any news so

my engine is finish !!!!
and the car is on the roed since 3 days

got a lot of probleme before starting the engine but now it's ok




i have not the good total advance with the treuhaft Dizzy ( i clean all Inside )  do i have to change the springs curve advance ?

do you know where i can find this srping curve kit ?

the last problem is the tach didnt work with the msd 6al  ( my tach is a jaeger )
i learn that there is a tach adaptator , but 2 reference , witch one i need the PN8910 OR PN8920  ( i run with ignitor Inside my treuhaft)
