this one guillaume !!

I did the wheels on that car, If you anodizing erco's you have to make sure you seal the joint of the two halfs. If you dont you get bleed marks from the joints.

Can you do Centerlines? There original chevy 5 lug ones. Think they might have a coating on them? There a bit dull at the moment, they were the wheels fitted to the cold sweat racecar.

never tried centerlines, my only concern is that the rivits will bleed, but you dont know untill you try! We usualy fully polish the wheels first be for anodizing.

no, its the dye they use gets trapped, and when they get sealed, the dye bleeds out making what looks like a run.

Would it be best to get them taken apart and then put back together afterward? If thats possible?

I remember that day when Henry was racing his car. I was standing close to the photographer when that was taken. God, I miss O.C.I.R. Spent a lotta time there.

You were standing close to the photographer?  Then you were standing right next to me when I took it!  You must have been holding my beer for me!  Ha!

Back during those days... that's probably not too far from the truth, my friend. By the way, best post that I've read in a long time.

Cheers!

I found this photos. Personaly, I like gold wheels with white car.

As far as I remember, Ole (owner of Pink Panther and here on this lounge) has DDS and Erco gold anodized wheels.

Their is also a blue early 60's cal look with gold erco in a Volksworld magazine but I don't have the magazine with me yet.

More pictures of this car?  Lovin the Empi 8's in Gold!
