Only just remembered I had this video footage today after the pic of old cab, Pete Shattock's 61?, Eric Bertand's Oval, Bernie's Berg 67 replica and Nico Germeau with Muppet racer was shown to me from staging lanes in 2002 at bug jam, a bit of a search of my junk this morning turned up some footage that was given to me by the guys at WPK racing back then, a little time on youtube and this is what we have got, it all seems so slow now but a 12second street car was something special[ to me anyway Smiley ] back then  Cool

Great video. I was there  Grin
What was the motor in the oval, I remember falling in love with it and that it had an aftermarket case of some description. All I wanted then was a 12 second street car

I remember when I ran the UK's first 12s in a VW street car in about 1995/6, or so, the guys and girls in the tower went nuts. The guy driving the Cosworth Sierra in the other lane went home...  Cheesy

That's the problem you take some years off the scene, you come back and the 12 second cabrio became a 8 second cabrio!
