i don't know why but that quarter flash car is very nice. i wouldn't mind buying it and have my own gasser. it as an appeal that i can't really discribe...

I did think about that, but assumed the holes had been filled at some point. Tony Isley's racecar had three holes in the flip front for cooling for a subaru engine originally, but by the time my mate bought it they'd been glassed in and the front repainted. It was the door handle recesses that made me think of quarterflash, that and the pale blue under the yellow.

Looks like a car that use to sit on top of a poll in front of an independent VW shop is Santa Ana off of Westminster & Harbor by the Santa Ana River bed, maybe Sarge remembered it? He’s an old guy

seen it in the flesh , had very little cracks in the fibreclass, had i not been on more of a parts hunt i would have taken more attention..would be good fun though

I remember it in Santa Ana, it was on top of the building or on a pole.  You could see it from the bike trail on the riverbed. We used to see it everytime we rode to the beach when we were kids. I did see it again in Stanton in the early to mid 90's ,it was behind a fence on Katella. That was the last I had seen it until the photo here.

Damn, a PBR sounds pretty good about now! For $hitty beer, it sure is tasty. When we have our white trash parties we have lots of PBR, Busch Light, Natural Light,and  then 211 Steel Reserve to finish us off.

Kool find, don´t get Russel all excetited now....its just a crappy ol glass body ! NOT a complete car ! But yeah way kool !

What about the ex Trimco funnycar ! built in 76-77 in Sweden an STILL up for go !
The company Hot Rod.nl  owns it now (Holland) Lilac/yellow text !  I saw last live  against my very own -55 Okrasa rod back in -96 at VW Action..
