In DDD are there always a few cars who have them with stickers on there windscreen from beetle-factory. Maybe you can ask them what they are.

did you ever try to put double t bird on the lawdown ?
i've got a A1 lawdown too and want to put on it a dual quiet pack from bugpack but i dont know if is it possible ( i know it a little small for the lawdown but look great )
did you drive with the lawdown ,

Now i did not do that..for me i want a muffler that is quieter than the A-1 muffler...

We had Turbo Thomas make a muffler that is about 15 cm longer than the A1 /CSP mufflers, and the "in & out" in the chamber in the front end of the muffler was connected with a 180 degree pipe, so the entire muffler acts as one long damper. Works quite well. We mainliy used these on high power busses though. If you want to muffle it much more than that I think 2 in line mufflers are the way to go.
