Been seeing this script or decal on many old school cal lookers and dragsters. What's the story behind it, the meaning of it? On secondly, where can I get one of those decals? Looks damn cool. Thanks!

It was on the rear fender of the Empi Inch Pincher drag car back in the 60s, as a bit of fun poked at the V8 racers - I mean, you line up against a Beetle back then and you're already on a downer. Win the race, big deal, you beat a Volkswagen. Lose the race and you really look bad! Sorry 'bout that!

EMPI got it from a TV character called Maxwell Smart. It was his catch phrase first I read somewhere.

Need to find one of these in decal. Have you guys seen any on the samba, eBay, anywhere? I know the originals where painted but im not talented in that way.
