The connecting rod from the pedal, to the cable snapped earlier.
Can anyone post up some pics of how and where it all goes back together?
Car is a 64.
The pedal has always felt horrible! Very notchy, and the angle of the pedal and rod never seemed right!
Thanks!

From google Only thing bolted to the pan is the stop plate, should be an easy enough fix. Flatlands sell lots of pedal parts if you get stuck looking for something try him.

Is a different set up on early cars :/
It's the actual hinge on the floorpan, where the pin goes through
It's never ending!

Spent Sunday evening on the m25!
Pedal linkage snapped, which I did a roadside bodge, to get me back on the road! Only for the cable to snap at the carb end!!

Or upgrade to a later pedal assembly. The previous posters Samba link pic shows good detail of the original, floppy, linkage.

Yes, saw that pedal, looks like a really good alternative!!
Also got a late pedal set up, may fit it, but just fitted a new accelerator cable , I believe the later type has a different end??

I used to do the late model conversion with a stock roller and pedal. But after using one of these kits... never again.
