Work in progress!
Turbo motor to install Smiley

I bought the chassis about 6 years ago with the intension of using a Beetle body on it.
Due to the chassis being built for a buggy body, it was turning out to be impractial.
A mate of mine said he noticed a Ghia fibre glass body for sale so this is the route i went down.

The chassis is tagged to 8.5 sec and was desiged as an open top car.
Since the body was fitted i have had the driver cell professionally lowered to sit more in line with the screen frame.
I have also made a pair of brackets to the bring the rear hubs in 2ins both sidesm to allow the use of the 7.5ins Porsche teledials with a pair of 26ins slicks.

Next on the list will be to use a wbx turbo motor mated to a built Type 1 transmission.
Watch this space Wink
