This is Shubee's '67 ... serviced it for Becky to drive and put a quick spit shine on it! PeePaw did a great job setting it up, getting it just so ... Cadan will have a killer ride when he's ready to take the wheel!

Congratulation's To the new Mrs Davis and yourself Neil think we need to get you into the funktional narrowing suite , first up some short rear axel's and let me at that front beam Haha! Thanks Glenn! I'm happy with the front end being as stock - the tyres fit the arches nicely, not tucked in at all but not sticking out either - just right! The rear end situation will be sorted soon though - I'm ordering some Day Mouldings wings for the back this week. At least they are the same size side for side, unlike the crappy repro ones on at the moment, and I'm swapping the 205/65's for some 195/70's. Wierd thing is that the tyres fitted fine before (well, the drivers one did, the passengers has always stuck out a bit - see what I mean about crap wings!), but since I fixed a rusty spot at the bottom the drivers one seems to rub just in one spot at about 10 o'clock looking at the tyre. The gearbox and axles are original 1967 1300 parts, so everything should fit. If all else fails, I've got a couple more gearboxes including a '66 one, and a superdiff, so I could have a little mix and match session and hopefully end up with a stronger, narrower 4.12 'box! It never ends, does it....

Hi Neil,
loving the 67, do agree with Glen regarding short axles on the rear but front is spot on!!
What's the plans, race the 67? Do you still have the split?

Thanks Lee, I'm glad it turned out ok! I'm not sure about racing the '67 - it'll need caging, and those 912 seats are huge! I'd like to take it down the strip when I've got the 2007 in it though. I've still got the '51 too, but that's going to be a long term project, because it's missing so much. I've got a few irons in a few fires about racing, and if all goes according to plan then I could be testing by the end of this season, which would be great - I havent been down the strip since Bug Jam 2005!

Shoob's/Cadan's '67 sports a stock exhaust with flared tips. Engine is currently stock as well. TxT

Tom, Good job on Gary`s 67.Nice stance..I saw the car at his house a couple of times.Maybe you should work on the 58 ,also. He would be proud. It does remind me of another Ruby red Texas 67.There`s getting to quite a few nice 67`s here now.Probably the best year built.I hope to have mine done later this year. The body is on the rotisserie. The pan is ready to paint.I`ve owned this car more than 30 years.

Wow....thanks guys. Just a note...I've located another 67 body that might find its way home to my house. Gotta get my chop on the road first. Before my days are done I want to build my ultimate 67 driving machine...and top my old 67. That will take some work.

Right you are Diederick! It is Darrin Dugan's Nitrous powered super clean '67. I think it has morphed into more of a race only type engine as he feels the need for more speed, but the car still looks awesome!
