I took my car to the London museum of steam and water to the steam and gasoline show. It’s a small show put on by Neil Melliard of Pro Sign and Neil Brown. Plenty of cool cars and you can also have a look at the museum.  Not a vw I know, but it is aircooled and more cal look than a trike

After demolishing the current garage (asbestos sheet/wood frame) at the Crofts house last weekend I needed a new temporary storage solution for the 63.
Harvey (Nedbug) has kindly offered a bit of storage so made the 40 mile trip today. Great fun

It drives nice, can’t really tell the difference as I never had a problem with swing axle.  I’m driving it longer distances and fixing the problems so I can try and make it a 10 second street car. No A frames or trailers needed  Grin

Went to the 1200Challenge dynoday shoot-out in Northern Germany (took the notch out): this 1192cc made 109 hp through the 30PICT at 1,1 bar boost!

And a Fiat 850 with a 1641 Turbo made 183hp:

I finally did the return trip from what I posted above. My new garage was ready to accept the 63 back. Did the 40 mile trip home and enjoyed every second. Had a bit of fun with a Fiesta ST on the way too.

I had to visit my local VW showroom in Dundee today. I followed my wife in as she had a service on her golf. The sales guys loved the beetle and put it on their 360 degree photo booth, so they could get some pictures on their web page. The photo,s looked good so thought I would share here.
