might be down in Melbourne for a week say end of August or early September, will be staying in the CBD area.

are there any shops or salvage yard thats worth checking out?

not hunting for anything specific, but i am always on the lookout for small unique bits that fits in the luggage everywhere i go.

I'm only 2500 miles away, so I'm probably not best qualified to answer this.
But......
Melbourne (and Victoria) is probably the home and centre of all things hotrod in the Great Brown Land of Oz, and also probably the home of hotrod VWs arguably so too, and there is ALWAYS something going on. I'm sure a Victorian will be on here shortly.

You have no idea how hard that was to say for a West Aussie...........

PS: maybe this will help........
