TMI products, Euro and US spec?

Not very Cal Look, but here is the best place to ask probably.

I can match up the seat style with the pics (no really, I can manage that bit, just!  ), but I don't know if VW used the same seats on each side for US and Euro spec models.
Does the seat flip-forward latch sit in the same place for both LHD and RHD models?

Thanks in advance for any UK/Euro/US help on the differences if any.

US spec front seats generally came as a high back seat from approx '68 onwards. In Europe we only had high backs or seats with head rests on our late model cabriolets.
