One pc window channel felt?

Hey gents , I'm installing my one pc power windows and wanted to know if anyone used a differant kind of window channel felt / channel?
The stuff that comes in one pc window kits is very stiff and difficult to get the right shape in the upper corners? I know I've seen some that didnt have the metal backer in it and had more of a rubber feel with heavy wire in it?
Anyhow got any ideas , links ?

Machine 7 use to (may still) sell the bugpack one piece window seals seperately. They were a very good quality
