Is there a trick to getting the circlip off that holds the axle in on a SA tranny? I have been fighting with the ones on my tranny and I can't seem to get them off. Any tips to make this easier?

Thanks,

i twisted the points inward of a long beak plyer so it could hook a little in the holes. that way i could better grab the circlip.
