Took the plunge

About a year ago, Daniel offered me his 66 fastback. Finally, I took him up on it. Now it is mine!!! Put over 100 miles on it today.

It's got about 200 miles on it since it was built. Might need an alignment. Turned 32k while driving it around yesterday. Timmy, my cantankerous buddy from Phoenix has been wanting to go on Hot Rod's Power Tour in one of our cars for the last 10 years. Perhaps this will be the vehicle. It has to be better than doing it in a 65 Valiant. An XM radio would be a necessity. Oh, and a laptop for nightly updates on the cruise. Bet it would be the only one there, and be almost invisible to the average American.

Cool fasty, Luke!
Are you gonna keep it like it is, or do you have plans for it?

Throw some interior pics up here.
How about some navy blue vinyl with grey cloth fat biscuts and thin black welting? Just off the top of my head...

From what I've experienced so far, this car is one kickass roadtripper. 75mph is no trouble. We took it all around the OC in June. Zach, I think I would like black vinyl with blue biscuits. Really could stand carpets. Presently, it is completely original, down to the one year only patterned covers.
