strip and sometimes street. turbo,full weight car. full slicks for track. fully built type 1 box will a quaiffe hold up on the track ? or is a spool a better idea...streetable ? thanks

It is not the diff you need to worry about. The rest of the gearbox can't take 400hp.

A few weeks ago I broke a LSD in a 091 box and have had to go for a spool and it was less than 400 hp. Since using the spool my 60 ft times have been reduced a little. Bernie

Which brand LSD Bernie? Tnx, Walter I have forgotten at the momen. Joe G knows the name but I snapped the driveshaft on the launch and it sezed and locked. Bernie

You must have got one of the first ones. Gary Peloquin has made improvements on the new batch the stubs are much stronger.

Hi Mike,it didnt break,it seized on 1 side much like a superdiff would with too many 1 wheel burnouts Have you seen any others fail like this? cheers richie,uk

No just some guy with a woods buggy snapped a stub off. But he had a V6 maybe thats why it broke.
