Can you mount racing style lap belts to the stock seat belt locations? Thinking of replacing the stock seat belts on my '67 mostly for looks.

Yes. I did it about a week ago on a car.
Just find a pic of the ones you intend to install and make sure the correct amount of eyebolts to match up with the stock mounting points.
Some are just a universal style belt- which may take more effort than one made for it's direct application.
I think I have some pics of the install...I'll post them when I can dig it up.

Thanks for the info. If you find the pics I wouldn't mind seeing them. I am thinking of using Simpson belts.

I have also simpson belts and they fit exactly, very easy to do...
