If it will happen it gets a permanent strip. First we need as much driver as we can for the May event . I let you know about it. If we can stay there the track will get a preparation . But please come in May .

Did a google translate of the 1on1 site and if i understand good there are no events in Bitburg this year.
Anyone who can confirm this?
And the event in the weekend of 25-28th of mai is only driving friday/saterday

That's not correct.
1on1 are in contact with the airfield owner, if the 1st event in may is a sucess with enough participants and no stress/ annoying of the residents more events this year will happen.
That is even the reason udo wrote that as much as possible should attend in the may event.
The location is around 80km of Koblenz, not koblenz itself.
I think i know where it will happen but 1on1 will have to confirm the place when everything is safe.
Racing only friday/saturday, gates are open on thursday.

That is right. It is not Koblenz , but in the area around 80 km. We let you know if everything is cofirmed. I hope we see some beetles there to keep the events going on

The kraftkaefer / Fulla Groffd Team will be there as well. And Bernd Trautmann with the ex- Typ3 Turbo notch will do his first roll out on the track......HOT CHOCOLATE will be back !!! We put in a 2.4 with TF-1 case and he made the car really nice  |

Nah, come on no words/pic's till yet about DDD15? That can't be What a great weekend, everybody who wasn't there missed a really great weekend! Thank's to DAS and 1on1 for organizing and keeping the event alive after shut down of bitburg. Track was fast after so rubber was layed down on the start by the participants. 9.259 by turbo bug from käferdesaster! A great ghia side by side run of mexx and the france turbo ghia with 9.9 and 9.6. Wow goosebumps on.  Low 10 for udo becker with a very fast reaction time. And no long waiting on the start line cause there were two return lanes. Great! Location was very wide and so clean. I agree, location was great. IMHO the turnout wasn't indeed like the years before. A few years ago there was a greater variety of cars maybe due to the weather? The last 2 years the weather wasn't 100% great. Still, thumbs up for the organisation, always counting down for this event! |
