The guys I bought it off were running it with a Corvair engine at run what you brung events mainly Vw events like Action and Bug Jam.
I'll pop them an email and see if he knows anything further back

Thinking about it, Cool Runnings was Laurie Craig and his dad Ralph. They had all manner of stuff, last I heard they had the ex-Outrage/Eightrage funny car.

Just looked up laurie craig and Cool Running looks like it was a funny car bug, does look like Eightrage with a red paint job
Think I can rule out this UVA ever being called Cool runnings
