The Cal Look Drags...... A no-nonsense event celebrating hot VW's in their natural environment - The Drag Strip #CallookDrags

This year's event is held at Shakespeare County Raceway and will be run over Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday will be RWYB with the new addition to this year's event the Street Eliminator Class, run by Richie Webb the current record holder for the fast Air-cooled VW in Europe! This will consist of a crooze to Stratford upon Avon on the Saturday stopping for a photo opportunity, then back to the track for a talk from Edd from AirMonkeys and a showing of the Cal-look Movie.

Sunday will then be a eliminators style heads up race, with paired grudge races and RWYB action.

Tickets are available from Shakespeare County raceway.
Prices:
Sat Gate £12 per person - Advance £10 per person -
Sun Gate £12 per person - Advance £10 -
Weekend £22 per person - Advance £20.00

Track fee is £25 per day or £40 for a weekend of unlimited runs

I've been at Shakey all weekend, got two runs today, and on the bottom of today's timing ticket it says:
"Next event
TBA - Keep your eyes on the press"

Read into that what you will, but I hope there is at least a part season in 2018.
