Hello

I've recently had an issue with both locking screws on the wiper arms of my 1960 beetle sheering off.  Bugger indeed.  Anyhow, it seems the arms that were on the car are not standard or I simply cannot find the correct replacements.  It is a 1960 sedan.

The ones with the problem are thicker and the hole for the shaft is larger as well as the hinge being visible.  I bought some replacement arms which allegedly should fit bit they are totally different.  The brand name on my arms is: Granero.

Does anyone know what these are?  Where I can buy replacements?

Here's a comparison to what arrived (they are the skinny ones):

Please help someone as I am garage bound at the mo given the great british summer Smiley

Cheers

You need the skinny ones. Lane Russel lists theirs as fitting 57-79? So wrong.

Problem is the skinny ones don't fit the spindle which is in place.  I'm working on the idea that these may have been upgraded at some point.

If you're not too picky about being original you can upgrade to 65-67 arms and 10" blades. They are both cheaper AND actually wipes the windscreen  Cheesy Cheesy
