hello,

i am just looking for an explanation for the fact that my aircooled engine runs richer (stationairy, Cruise, wot) when hot 80°- 90°, then when it is cold, lets say 30°, you would expext that a hot engine needs Les fuel??

can someone explain that.

thanks in advance

You are correct it needs/uses less fuel when hot, so it does run richer when hot as what you get out tailpipe is more unburnt fuel

cheers Richie
