It's that hot in my shed my pistons have grown enough to close .05mm deck height to zero

It's too hot in the West Midlands too, I'm trying to polish the (rather flat) paint on my car so it at least looks presentable for MOT next week!

Isn't .05mm deck height just about the same as having zero deck height?

Well only one of the two allows the piston to not hit the deck height plate
