With the street car shootout at Drag Day looming I thought I'd better insure my car. I've used Footman James for years but I remember hearing that they will only insure up to 100bhp more than stock.
Who else do you use, and who would you avoid at all costs? (cough* HIC *cough)

I use Cherished, aka 'A Plan'. As they have a multi vehicle policy. They also provide breakdown cover.

Brentacre, have used them for the last 14 years
They only really care about horsepower, once you say power output all other mods are fair game. When the cage went in the oval I phoned them and all they said was "thanks for letting us know"

Classicline Insurance.  Agreed value with all modifications and very good to deal with.

Cheers gents, I've requested quotes from Brentacre and RH. Hopefully they come back with decent numbers!
