So having taken a few days to think about it and considered the opinions I have received I have decided to leave rules exactly as they are, they are simple and worked fine last year, and Joel pointed out it is all about having fun  Cool

So yes you can use octane booster if you want to Smiley

I'm planning on bringing mine. As I said before, I'd like to break into the 13's and drive home... 100mph terminal speed would be nice too.

Yep, 2005! Got the engine out today, head off, rocker studs replaced. Tomorrow we'll build it back up and get it in. Friday I've got a factory tour at Morgan, so no work being done then, and Em is back so I've got to get the head, carbs and fanshroud out of the living room before she gets back...

Drove it to work on Monday! Needs some time spent setting it up, and still quite smoky when I give it the beans. Keep playing at the weekend!

Had a couple of hours in the garage today and got this old shitter back on the road.
It's got working wipers, washers, lights, horn and door mirrors, so it's got to be a street car ;-)

We are trying to arrange an allocated pit area for everyone taking part in Aircooled Street car shootout so if you are definitely coming with a car to race then can you post here so we have an idea of numbers and size of space we will need, thanks  Smiley
